What your child gains

  • Wooden shelves under a large window, with baskets, trays and everyday objects at child height.

    Independence

They learn to do things on their own, at their own pace.

  • Montessori materials on low shelves: red and blue rods, continent puzzles and a solar system board.

    Learning by hand

Touching, sorting, comparing: they understand by doing.

  • Movement room with a light wooden floor: a rocking arch, a small slide and large windows.

    Move, sing, explore

A movement room, a music corner and a garden: room to let off steam.

“Help me to do it myself”

This is the central idea of Maria Montessori, a physician and educator. Her method has been used around the world for more than a century.

Here, materials are kept at child height: children choose, try and try again.

Your questions, our answers

How many children can the nursery welcome?

What is the Montessori approach?

An approach created by Maria Montessori that places trust in the child. Children learn by handling suitable materials, at their own pace, with an adult who observes and supports them.
